The Direct Mount Adapter lets you mount the aF4 directly to your aquarium instead of a cabinet or stand. A companion to the aF4 Shelf, it positions the feeder right at the tank's edge — ideal for setups where cabinet mounting isn't practical.
Compatibility & Requirements — Requires the aF4 Shelf (sold separately); fits rimless, euro-braced, and most rimmed aquariums; available in Black or White PETG.

Installation Instructions
The aF4 Shelf is designed to be installed into aquarium stands with a wall thickness of 1/2" or greater.
The shelf may be mounted elsewhere, but care must be taken to ensure it is held securely and suitable mounting hardware must be purchased separately if installing in an alternate location.
- Place a level on the shelf surface or the top edge, and carefully mark each of the 4 screw holes on the surface where the shelf will be mounted.
- Pre-drill each of the locations for the screws using a 3/32" drill bit. Be very careful not to drill too far! (tip, mark the depth on the drill bit to be sure!)
- Place the shelf in place, and secure using the 4 provided screws. Be careful not to overtighten and crack the plastic.
