Delivery/Build
Unit came very fast and well packaged. Feeder is heavier than I expected feels like it’s built very well. Hoses are very thick obviously made to last. Buttons are okay they are a bit hard to press BUT they are not used often especially if you have a controller. The feed cups and covers are well made no problems as all! (Buy extra!)
Food Prep
It’s a bit of a trial and error..I wanted to load a week of food and forget it. I am using 14 cubes diluting to the 120mm line on cup this seems to be my magic mix with my bio load. I would start with their recommendations and go from there to meet your tanks needs.
Overall very happy it’s a great unit for daily use and vacations. Absolutely glad I purchased the unit. Customer support is unmatched very fast and polite. I have no doubt if a problem does occur inD aquatics will have my back.
Just a couple thoughts….
The noise level…. when it sitting idle it’s fine you might hear the fan once in a while when it’s ramping up to chill food but overall very quiet. Now when it’s actually feeding it’s loud no way around this fact. Luckly whole feeding cycle is very brief so schedule morning feed after everyone is up for morning :)
Last thing is mixing of the food. There is a very slight mixing during feed cycle but it’s very little. I found with my food/dilution ratio the food would settle to bottom and this could absolutely be how I mixed the food. I probably could have experimented with the mix where food would stay suspended but I am lazy. So instead I added a tiny air pump and put the tube in the feed cup. The air pump turns on 5 seconds before the feed cycle to mix the food up in the feed cup before the feeder draws from cup. I am getting a more consistent feed density at the end of week there is very little left over food at bottom of cup. Next version would be nice to have built in stirrer or air pump to mix food.
If you’re on the fence wondering if it’s worth the $$$ well it is especially if you’re away for your tank often.

Should have bought it sooner!
The first week with the unit has been fantastic. Connected it following the youtube instructions and have completely automated feeding my reef. If the long term reliability holds up then I will be buying more.
